Maybe I'm not the first one to do this but today I realized that these hot air balloon parts would fit perfectly for a light bulb.
The denoiser improves the render a lot but there're still some ugly black spots.
This model was built by me saabfan. You may download it, render it and built it in real life but please always include my name if you post it online.
This is what happens with the denoiser and not enough samples for glass materials.
The first thing I though about when I saw this model is the tutorial from Blenderguru. I quickly put together a similar scene. It doesn't even look like lego pieces anymore!
Brilliant model saabfan! And awesome render Scrubs! I recognized the scene from blenderguru but I don't even do blender. ( my bro does and I saw him watching it)
I would like to have this kind of creativity and able to concrete it as you do, Saabfan. Scrubs, that's an amazing render. You are my master (like a lot of another Lego fan in Mecabricks )
Cool, er, hot render zanna! I really like the look of the floor, and how it (probably unintentionally) looks like there's a nebula in there... Maybe that's why whoever it was that got too close is now very bony looking.
I thought I'd do a render of this as well. Inspired by Paradise Falls from Up, saabfan, and the original purpose of the hot air balloon piece. It's an oxymoron render!
@brickboy8102 As Armored Bricks already said I published this model 9 months ago whereas yours released 4 weeks ago. That being said it doesn't necessarily mean you copied it and judging by the differences I don't think you did but I didn't either.
Oh, im sorry. I apologize for the rudeness I just realized. To be honest, it makes my build luke puny, yours has more detail and talent. I hope you can forgive me.
@Brickboy
It's fine, I don't think you copied. I can see how it would be easy to think someone copied you if you see something similar without seeing the date. Good luck building
btw saabfan is one of the most amazing builders on Mecabricks. I could probably never live up to his talent, which includes him making the Ideas Apollo 11.
@brickboy
Yes, I have a Lego Account. On Lego Ideas I am ArmoredBricks, just like here. However, this would be a better topic to discuss on the "messages" ( https://www.mecabricks.com/en/account/messages ) than here.
The glowing element must be set to emission. In the rendering section of the workshop, you can find that setting under lighting, it's pretty intuitive.
If you're using Blender, go to the shader editor with the part selected and crank up the emission value.
