Well, the first step to making a custom print is to go to the Part Manager (go there by clicking the “Parts” button in the top main menu) and find the piece you want to custom print. Some pieces aren’t custom-printable, and you can see which pieces are by seeing if they have a 2 in the upper left corner of the piece. If there’s a 2, it’s custom-printable. Once you’ve found your piece, you have to copy the part number. Then click the button underneath the top button in the side menu, and then click “custom”. Paste in your piece name, for example 3814 (minifigure torso part) in the “configuration” space, and then hit the li’l search button next to it. The part you’ve chosen should now appear in the right-hand menu. Now click the “decorated” button (which is a bit below the “configuration” button) and then scroll to the bottom of the right-hand menu. Tick the checkbox for uv1, and then click the download button. Then go to the editing app of your choice (I use Vectornator and Adobe Photoshop Mix) and (I’m pretending you’re using Vectornator to simplify the explanation) start a new project, and when it asks you what you want to edit/start off with, click the “Cloud” button, and select the UV map that you previously downloaded. Add your logo or whatever to the project by clicking the plus at the bottom of the screen and then adding your logo (which I’m assuming you previously downloaded/made) and then positioning it on the UV map. After that, click the plus at the bottom of the screen, go to the “layers” section, delete layer 1 (the UV map) and the click the cross at the top-left corner of the screen, and then when it expands into a menu, click the share button, save it as a PNG file, and then save it to Files. Now go back to the Mecabricks Part Manager, click the button underneath the top button in the left-hand menu, click “custom”, enter the part you want to custom-print’s number, choose the colour of the part, click decorated, and then click the + button next to the “Colour” space (which is next to the “Data” space), and find your file, click it, and wait a few seconds... et voilá! There you have it! A custom printed piece! BUT WAIT! If you want your print to be all shiny, then click the plus next to the “data” space, find the same custom print file, and enter it. And there you have it! A shiny print!
P.S. I forgot to say that you have to add a name and reference in their respective spaces. The name and reference can be anything you want, as long as you haven’t used it for another custom.

Now, if you want to edit an already existing print, the go to workshop, find the piece, then click “File” in the top menu, click Export, and then export it as a Colla .dae file. You then must go to you files, find the Colla .dae file, open it, open the textures file inside it, then the colours/official (I can’t remember which file comes first) file inside that, then open the file inside that, then there will be an image of the designs of the piece you chose. Save that to photos, and then in the editing app of your choice, open a project with that image, edit the image, save as a PNG, and then do all the steps that I described for a normal custom print.

Anyway, I hope that helped, and if I was unclear about anything. Just let me know!

Phew, typing all that was exhausting!

Yeah, just recently, I filled up my storage space. I found out that I actually had quite a few duplicates of prints, so I was able to delete a few.

The download button for the UV map will appear at the bottom of the right-hand menu (the menu with the 3D view of the part you have chosen) after you click the “decorated” button.

@M1CKFLAM3: By the way, could you please not say “Commenting before Lax”? I just think it sounds mocking. I know you may not have been intending to be mocking, but it just sounded like that. Thanks!

Hey can I request a print?

I am honestly not the best at custom printing...
But I have seen your prints and decided you are the go-to person

@M1CKFLAM3: No, it does not, because Lax doesn't have the time to play your little games. He has a life, as does every other person on here, so please stop mocking him, before I have to get him, or anyone else involved. Thanks!
@SnapStudio:

@AABuilds: Sure! Please request it on the other post though. It just helps me keep track of all the requests. You can find the link in the comment right above your first comment.
@quicksilver22: What do you mean “save this print”? There’s only one custom print in this, and that’s my custom torso. Please do not save that, because that print is mine. Thanks!

Hey Jaze (can I call you that), I've been custom printing for some time now, and I'm not exactly sure about the 2 meaning you can add a decal, for example part 85974 has a two on it, but it doesn't have to option to add a sticker, But if it works for you then please let me know, Thanks.

What does "E1005: Reference empty or already in use" mean?
Jaze_Dragon
NRGBrix: Of course you can call me that! Anyway, huh, that’s extremely weird. First time I’ve encountered a piece that’s like that. All the tutorials I’ve seen on how to custom decorate even say that any piece with a 2 is decoratable, so I’ll have to assume that that’s just an exception. Maybe you can ask Scrubs in a relevant forum?

Thanks for your help Jaze, the piece isn't that important to me so I'll just let it slide, But nice talking to you anyway.
