"How's the view back there, Bobby?" I know, I already built Lightning McQueen. in fact, he was the first "Cars" character I ever did on Mecabricks. But this is him as he appeared at the beginning of "Cars 3." This was always one of my favorite of his looks. It clearly takes its main source of inspiration from his classic paint scheme in the first movie, but it adds a sleek, modern twist to it that I really like. I was also never completely satisfied with the face I made for the first one, so I made a new one which I believe looks a lot more... Lightning-McQueen-y.

Fun fact: Lightning McQueen never says "ka-chow" once throughout the entirety of "Cars 3." I guess he finally realized how ridiculous it sounds.

Hey! I hope you don't mind if I use this model in my upcoming LEGO 3D Animation? You will be credited.

Feel free to, Martinsonhei! Honestly, it's really nice to see someone actually asking me about this. I've seen too many cases of people just swiping my models and presenting them as their own.
