Did you know that Santa's suit used to be green? According to Google, in the 1880s, Santa was depicted in a green or tan suit.

Thomas Nast, a German-born American caricaturist, is often attributed for the creation of the modern American version of Santa's suit. Coca-Cola began to use the red image of Santa on advertising in the 1930s, when the company hired artist Haddon Sunbloom to create a character of Santa Claus for use in festive campaigns. The idea was to ensure people continued to drink Coke during the winter months, as the drink was associated with warm, summer days. (Yes I did copy and paste that from google!)

This build shows A modern red Santa looking at his past self in a mirror.

I actually built this model last year, but never published it in time for Christmas!

I hope you like it, and Merry Christmas!
