Hello again fellow aviation enthusiasts!
This is my very first helicopter, but surely more are to come!

Mostly constructed to replace the obsolete HH-3F "Pelican", the US Sikorsky MH-60, also known as "Jayhawk", is a mid-range recovery helicopter mostly maintained by the US Coast Guard since the early 90s.
Compared to the Pelican, this Aircraft is way cheaper to adapt and can therefore used in many different operations, such as search and rescue, law enforcement and has even been operated in several environmental protection missions.
All Jayhawks maintained by the USCG have received a technical upgrade between 2007 and 2014.

In July of 2010, 3 out of 42 Jayhawk aicrafts in total crashed. 2 of the crashes were fatal.

Making this was really fun, even though took me a whole day, which makes me think I that I'll take a break from building for the next few weeks after the last 3 models I published very recently.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy the model!
