This model is now 100 % complete!
Thanks to Sealund for the stickers!
Thanks to Scrubs for adding all missing parts!
I bought some of the missing parts, so they will be added at some stage. The 2 that I cannot get for now are the rims and tyres.
I will flag this model as official when it is a bit more advanced and polished.
@Scrubs, almost done. Just need te reroute the strings with studs and re-align the brake callipers. After that I will scan the stickers sheet and the printed parts.
I managed to make some of the key parts missing. Still a few elements to model and the stickers to add but I thought it would already deserve a render.
Thanks! I bought the other missing parts back in july so I shall be able to make everything that is missing. Looking forward to playing with the complete set.
Wow! Awesome! The rims and tires really make it mean (3D) model. Sealund, thanks!! Also don't forget the exclusive code. I will upload a scan with the complete code.
The #Mecabricks Advanced addon has been updated for #Blender 2.80.
I made a fast test with the #LEGO® Technic 42083 #Bugatti Chiron. Export and import is super-fast. I added a procedural noise bump texture and cranked up the values for imperfections, scratches and fingerprints more extreme to see how this looks like.
For the second rendering I used a classic three lights technique with area lights and an aditional light to brighten up the left front a bit.
I finally got time to fix the suspension. It now has the correct ride height, calliper-measured with my own Chiron. It wasn't fun to adjust the suspension bars and the axles, but I managed to do it properly (meaning everything is as it would be when you build it).
I will flag this model as official when it is a bit more advanced and polished.
