Spotted a special yellow 1x2 plate under the ship which is in the middle of a black 2x6 plate.

The rendering looks a bit dark. I would color correct it with Curves. In this case I used Photoshop. But you can do it easily in Blender's Compositor.

@Renderbricks: Thanks they really looks much better.

My renders somehow are always coming out dark as I hesitate to increase the light (it blows off whites). I will checkout how to do it in compositor or try adding color ramps.

@R33l_Just1ce:
Thanks, I liked you render. I think it looks bit stretched horizontally, not sure if that was intentional.

It was! I wanted it to be a little cinematic. I'm new to blender so thanks for providing the awesome model to work with!

@IstakaCiti

You should use the latest daily build of release candidate of 2.79. Filmic Blender is important to have a better control over brighter lighting.

In the Compositor you might use two options:
RGB Curves or Color Balance

When you use the latest Blender with the Filmic Color Management you should save your rendering in OpenEXR format, do the color correction and save from here in eg. PNG.

If you save your render in PNG the color profile will be baked into the picture. This is OK if you are happy with the direct render result. For compositing please use OpenEXR what is a raw format giving you control over the full dynamic range of the picture.

Wrong color for the six studs at the top. Should be red instead of transparent red.

Same problem in the same place. Tr. orange instead of warm gold is selected.

I put all prints and decorations in the dropbox.
I also remade meshes for all old pieces of this set.
I can not really do much more for now. The 4 pieces missing for the minifigs will come later in september.
