Built in 1943 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works, this 2-8-2 "MacArthur" type locomotive used by the US Army on the White Pass and Yukon railroad during World War 2. In 1960, No. 190 was acquired by the Tweetsie Railroad to have a second locomotive to support the growing tourist attraction. Now Nicknamed "The Yukon Queen", No. 12 is one of 2 coal-fired steam locomotives on the Tweetsie Railroad.
