Hello again! Today, I recreated Tarrey Town from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in miniature form! The village buildings are constructed for a compact blocky texture, created exclusively by the in-game NPC, Hudson, and so recreating it in LEGO was quite difficult. The outside hills shown are meant to be moved around for play, and a detachable shrine is included. During the building of the shrine, I discovered a technique using a 1x2 wall element upside-down for the doorway. This allows a more presentable build, and gives more dimension to the inside. At the center of the town is a custom statue of Hylia, as shown in-game. The shrine hill and town were quite complicated as well, because I wanted to be accurate, and forming the base took finding the right pieces, but at the same time, I couldn't make it too blocky. This build was made without clipping, and I'm happy that this MOC was able to show the blockiness of LEGO in the main build, and the versatility of the diverse pieces used in the shrine build. Enjoy!
