In a late celebration of Black History Month (Yeah, i know it ended like a week ago.) This special installment of History in Bricks is dedicated to the continued struggle of African Americans for their Fair Treatment.

Dr. Martian Luther King Jr. delivering his famed 'I Have a Dream' Speech to a crowd of thousands and televised live on the 28th of August, 1963.

MLK was considered the leader of the Civil Rights Movement starting in the 1950's. The Movement was the effort to end segregation, unfair treatment of African Americans, and gain voting rights for them in America. While the movement saw many victories, and achieved its goals, the struggle still continues to this day.

Credits to LegoWilderness for the MLK Figure.
