For a short build, it certainly serves a purpose. I think one of the things a Jedi does before they become a Padawan (and go with a master) is learn to see using the force with this huge helmet thing on. Luke wears one in A New Hope, and there's a scene in either Attack of the Clones or Revenge of the Sith where the Younglings are wearing and are training with training droids.
Hope to see more models like this.
