The_An0nym entered into a big storage room. There were neon-light-blue circles that covered all walls.
“Where are the weapons?” WizardBuilds1 asked after The_An0nym had stopped walking.
“See those round things? Those are weapons. You press the middle of them and they’ll extend,” The_An0nym explained.
“Seriously?” Happy097 asked.
“Seriously,” The_An0nym confirmed.
“From what can we choose?” General_Veers asked.
“Standard gun, sniper, rocket launcher and sword. I have my own pair that I rigged to fit my fighting style,” The_An0nym said.
“Ooh, I want a sword!” LEGOminis exclaimed.
“Well… You’ll all have to take at least four of each one. I don’t care which main weapon you choose, just have enough weapons. You never know if one gets jammed or breaks,” The_An0nym said.
“I want the gun,” SlimBrick1 said, completely ignoring The_An0nym. I’ll need them to leave before they break something, The_An0nym thought. It didn’t take long before each one of them had stuffed their pockets full with weapons.
“Soooo…. What are we going to do now?” SuperPup1 asked.
“We split. I’ll show you the exit. Everyone of you will pick a different direction in your assigned group. I’ll stay here,” The_An0nym said. It didn’t take long before he pressed a button and a trap door opened to the outside.
“Just a question, but why are we already, without training with these weapons, leaving?” SlimBrick1 asked.
“Because the system doesn’t wait to catch the other users,” The_An0nym said.
“Oh! I also have one more question! Why are sometimes referring to the ‘subconscious’ part of the system like an entire other thing?” LEGOminis asked.
“Because the new system took over the old system, but can’t really operate it. The old system only runs the same programs and can’t think independently, but has access to things that the new system doesn’t. Now go!” The_An0nym said.
They all climbed outside and went in their assigned groups.
“Seems like we are together!” SuperPup1 said to SlimBrick1.
“Indeed,” SlimBrick1 said, then continued to say farewell to his colleagues.
“Be careful!” The_An0nym warned before they left.
“Only if you finish programming snuffles,” SlimBrick1 replied.

“My feet hurt,” Happy097 complained.
“Mine too, but we can’t rest now,” WizardBuilds1 said. It was hours ago that they had split up.
“Who do you think we’ll find first?” Happy097 asked.
“I don’t know. Chances are that we don’t find anyone at all,” WizardBuilds1 replied.
“True… But what if?” Happy097 asked.
“I don’t know… Lax maybe?” WizardBuilds1 asked.
“Why him?” Happy097 asked.
“He was the first one that came to mind,” WizardBuilds1 answered.
“Okay… What is your favorite weapon?” Happy097 asked.
“I’m hesitating between the sniper, gun and sword,” WizardBuilds1 said.
“Well… I also can’t choose. But I think I’ll be going with the rocket launcher,” Happy097 said. WizardBuilds1 became a bit scared.
“What is the first thing you’ll do once you leave this place?” Happy097 continued questioning.
“Why the sudden questions?” WizardBuilds1 asked.
“Just answer the question,” Happy097 urged.
“Okay… I’d probably smash my iPad,” WizardBuilds1 said.
“Did you just read my mind or something? I’d do the exact same thing!” Happy097 exclaimed.
“Seriously? I was just saying stuff. No way I’d break my iPad,” WizardBuilds1 said.
“Oh…” Happy097 said. They walked further in silence, until Happy097 made a wild gesture.
“What?” WizardBuilds1 asked, thinking it would be another question.
“Do you see that!” Happy097 exclaimed in an excited manner. In the distance WizardBuilds1 could just make out the outline of a person.
“Let’s go!” WizardBuilds1 said, and began to run. Happy097 followed his lead
“Why are we running?” he asked.
“Because we might lose him,” WizardBuilds1 replied.
“True… But my feet are about to fall off,” Happy097 said.
“Knowing how hard it is to tear off a lego minifigure leg off, I'd highly doubt that,” WizardBuilds1 said.
“Whatever,” Happy097 grumbled, but couldn’t stop imagining his leg falling off.

A minifigure running with only one leg would be quite funny to see!

Nice chapter, I'm eager to read whatever is coming next!!

One question: do you already have the whole story, or are you writing at the same time? (another way of asking it would be: do you already know how it will end?)

! Amazing as always! I am just addicted to this story!
Also- an idea for the story name: The Mecabricks Matrix

a minifigure running with one leg IS funny! have you ever played LEGO star wars, the complete saga?
when a protocol droid is on one health, it costs it, if you pardon the pun, an arm and a leg.

The first thought I had when I read this was, “Yay! New chapter!”
And just so you know, I think I’d take the sword, (if I couldn’t have my wand) and I use an iPad instead of a computer. Just trying to enhance the story realistically.

You know, I find it very easy to take a minifigure leg of, just so you know.
Also, me using a rocket launcher is hilarious becuase one of my best friends gamer tag is “RocketMaster”
The irony.

Also I use an iPad too. How ironic

Removing a leg from the hip is like, the most delicate and hardest thing to do on a minifig! I’ve had hips break from leg removals too many times.

Clever title, Justy!
Suggestion for Anon: You could make another, smaller contest for just the name of the story.

Nice! I can’t wait to see who it is!

WizardBuilds1 - I could and I also thought about it already, but I decided to not do it since it might be a title I don't really 'like'. (I hope I didn't missunderstand your message)

No, that’s fine. I realize now YOU’D probably want to name your own story, or at least choose. To each his own!

WizardBuilds1 - Thanks for your understanding!
