==MISSING PARTS==
The build is ~96% accurate, with about 13 parts missing, plus the sticker sheet and minifig heads/torsos. I used my own MOC-assembly to replicate a missing part #42604, 6x8x4 'Aircraft Fuselage Angular Top.'

When submitting 'The Shipwreck' set no. 7776 recently, I kinda bashed the design of "Aqua Raiders" brick-built animals—after completing this model, I'll have to retract my criticism. The giant squid attacking an Aqua Raiders underwater HQ has quite an excellent design; a rather menacing creature is not too cartoonish or frivolous.
This set no. 7775 "Aquabase Invasion" was the largest in a 2007 'Aqua Raiders' series, released by Lego as a follow-up to a classic 1995-'98 "Aquazone" collection, which included the first OG generation of Aqua Raiders fighting against the evil Aquasharks and Stingrays.
Clocking at 840+ parts and five minifigures (including a skeleton), the model includes four main objects:
=Aquabase=
The Aquabase main structure rests on a 16x32 baseplate, raised on massive pylons above the rocky seabed. The spacious Command & Control Room with gigantic panoramic windows is equipped with extra diving gear, service tools, and a control station's dashboard with a coffee mug. A robotic crane arm hovers above, and a Mini-Sub (exploration pod for deep-sea missions) sits on a Launch Ramp in the center of C&C Room, ready to dive any second. (To launch the mini-sub, push the Launch Ramp Trigger).
The base is heavily guarded—first off, a rotating harpoon turret on the top, shooting a torpedo; there's also a "Big F*%#№n' Harpoon Gun" with two rotating barrels on the front of the building.
=Submarine Dock=
Adjacent to the station, there's a vehicle dock for submarines and other vehicles arriving at Aqua Raiders HQ.
=Submarine=
Consists of ~100 parts, with a large half-spherical front canopy and cargo space to carry around the large crate full of treasures. It's armed as well, with a rotating Laser Gun mounted on top.
=Giant Squid=
The sea monster consists of 183 parts, finished mostly in dark blue & black color scheme, with some tan accents and multiple "glow-in-the-dark" pieces, for an even more terrifying and daunting look! Inside a half-transparent belly, one can see glowing veins and a diver's skeleton.
Two eyeballs that rotate independently in their sockets have an excellent color scheme: bottom halves are in white with marbled red 'hazy smoke' pattern, and tops are in the transparent glow (which I didn't even know to exist in Lego before getting to this set).
