Hi Disney fans, I really happy to present you an awsome project named Disneyland Microscale! This project is composed of two big plateforms (which are the Disneyland plateform and the Disneyland Studio plateform) and of 13 small creations, which are the most famous attractions of Disneyland! The advantage of this project is that it isn't an accurated set, as you have the possibility to place everywhere the 13 attractions on the two plateforms! The Disneyland park is inspired by the park of California, and the Disneyland Studio is based on the park of Florida.
This model was built by CARLIERTI. You can use for your models/renderings, but please always include my name if you post it online.
You did a great job on this model. It's a shame it never reached the finish line on Lego Ideas. I've made a few projects on there myself, though none of them ever reached 20 supporters!
Your welcome! One question, do you know how to add those pictures as backgrounds in blender? I have asked this question multiple times on Mecabricks, but I have never received a response. Mind if I make a rendering for this model?
To add a background on blender you need to add at first a plane ( add>mesh>plane). Then in material click the button near to color and select image texture (here you can add the picture you want for background). The last step is to unwrap the texture on the plane : open image editor panel and select image and then unwrap the plane on the image.
There is an easier way by using image to plane addon (user preference panel).. hope it will help!
Nevermind about my last posts! I have officially reached comment-frenzy level! I found the part where the add-on is, and I figured out how it works, but the only problem is the texture-plane shows up as purple? I've seen this happen to my minifigure faces before, but that was because Blender could not find the proper files. I put the imported image next to my Blender file, but it still shows up as purple? Have you experienced this Carlierti? If so, do you know how to fix this problem? Sorry about the ridiculously insane amount of questions I am asking... I am still just a beginner.
Hi Samino! Thanks a lot for all your renderings! cool!
Actually the image becomes purple when you don't put the image file in texture..I don't really know what is wrong.
With the add on you only have to click add>mesh>image as plane, then select the image you want and when you are done then scale if it too small.
Hope this will help!
If it still does not work ask me again for more details!
CARLIERTI
Thank you! I think I might have already found the problem. It was probably from me trying to use the Cycles Render Engine... and yep. That was the problem. Now to render a Aragon's sword!
