It doesn't work with decorated pieces currently. Looking at your image i think i found a way to solve that! Will try soon.

@Jeff I modified the code and volume emission is now also applied to transparent parts with decorations. I made a render test with your model. I removed all the lamps and only turned on emission for material 42.
Another tips: I added the option "Full Global Illumination" in the render tab. Turn it on when you have glass in your scene. It looks better and time increase is very minimal.
