Your setup for pearl parts looks good on this render. Does it work well for others like silver ink?
Does it slow down the render time or it is negligible?

Scrubs - it's quite slow but there's usually only a few parts. I posted the setup in the forums. I have a similar but different set up for the ink parts, which I will post too.

Scrubs - my ink setup doesn't play nice with the OSL round edges but I did add a comment to my pearlescent thread with a simple fast alternative.

UmbraManis - Thanks! It was a lucky thought to play with normals to get the metallic flakes and then I just took the next step to add the marbling - and it worked way better than expected! Enjoy using it!
