I'm not sure if you've heard about this before, r2d2j2b2, but I often say, "You know a LEGO model is good when it doesn't look like LEGO at first." This is the case with this model! It's so true to an actual 0-4-0 switcher that it truly doesn't look like LEGO at first. It's so well-built! The smoke-box door is so authentic, and the turtle-back tender is surprisingly smooth! The reason I say "surprisingly" is because replicating that iconic feature on the tender is no easy task--that is, in my opinion. Have you considered submitting this to LEGO Ideas? It's amazing! Take care.

Thanks, JoeCheesy765! I was considering submitting a few mocs on LEGO Ideas such as the switcher, the Golden Spike set, and maybe even the camelback.

OOOH! A camelback, you say, r2d2j2b2? That's great! The Golden Spike is an iconic scene in railroading history, and the switcher would make a charming little LEGO train related item that's cheap yet wholesome. If or when you do submit your models, what will be your name on LEGO Ideas? My name is "cheeseinthepie", although I address myself mainly as "Joseph cheeseinthepie" in my project descriptions. Have a great day!
