A comparison of Richard Matheson’s classic novel and the 2007 apocalypse film.
(Very different, but I love them both. The book’s ending was FAR better than the movie’s, though. The book’s intelligent vampires, too.)

- Robert Neville (w/ clove of garlic) / Robert Neville
- “The Dog” / Sam
- Ben Cortman / Alpha Male
- Ruth / Female Mutant* (or Anna, maybe?)

FB - It’s outstanding, but—needless to say—darker than the What If…? zombie episode.

I've watched the movie, I think it was pretty good!
I have never read the book though-Is it drastically different or just small changes?
Anyways, it sounds interesting!

AAB - Brooooo—give me some!

Yes, the book and movie are drastically different. Still, I’d totally recommend the book!
Since it was written in 1954, I was expecting it to be campy and outdated. But it holds up insanely well for today’s standards, and it’s a very powerful/sad read.
