That torso couldn't have been very much fun to draw...

Rendering made with the Advanced Add-on only. I did not use my special minifigure here. However, I tweaked the settings of the materials and updated some parts with subdivisions.

Did you use the Mecabricks shaders for your render Masman?

Thanks everyone!

@Samino Yes, the shaders were the ones in the advanced addon, with settings tweaked. winking face

I downloaded the render, and it had a 1500x1500 resolution. I'm guessing he made the wear imperfections stronger and added some bright lamps to make the bumps stick out on the mask/hood thingy more.

@Citrine Well, it's most likely the use of the advanced addon's wear & tear and roughness values. But for sure the lighting as well, It's necessary to position lights to highlight those surface details. I'm a big fan of area lights. Don't do small image sizes either.

@Masman @Samino Slightly off topic, but my family just got a new PC and it renders 10 times faster than my laptop smiling face with open mouth and smiling eyes

Yeah, I thought that, thanks for the advice. I might try and do some bump maps as well, the texture looks too smooth and flat.

I'd recommend using a noise texture node and input that into the height input of a bump node. It adds a small miniscule bumpiness.
