I'm guessing y'all forgot about this! well, you didn't show any signs that you remembered it. this chapter is a special one, because it's split into two sections from different places. first up is Grunts hut, next is outside of it. I hope you like it! ju5ty has been delaying it like crazy, but it still came out!

"Please, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. we just wanted to know about it." pleaded David.
"Too late. the cat's out of the bag. and you can't put the cat back in the bag, I mean, what cat wants to go into a bag? that reminds me of a story about the village. Mr. McCannan was just going out for a walk when out of the blue-"
"Sir, I'm sorry if David offended you in any way, but we need to know about the Logolo if we're going to kill it." interrupted Ner'hu from the window.
"You want to kill it?" asked Grunt in surprise. "Well why didn't you say so! When something brutally murders your parents, of course you want revenge."
"Um, I have to go." said William awkwardly.
"By all means, there's no bathroom in here." Grunt chuckled with a wink. William briskly walked to the door and exited the shack with a grim look on his face.
"You were saying?" Ricky said, hoping to continue Grunt's improved mood onto what he had to say. He mainly told stories, rumors. but occasionally, he talked about his parents. then he displayed one key piece of information.
"It is said in legend to only lurk in dark places, and not just dark, COMPLETELY dark, pitch black."
"Wow, that really helps!" Ner'hu said enthusiastically
"Yeah, we know where to look now! I'll go tell William!" Ricky announced as he bounded out of the hut.
He bounded right into William and Smasher sitting outside. "Guys, we know where to look for the Logolo!"
His gaze fell on Smasher. "Oh, we forgot about you. listen!"
he told them the stories and rumors the best he could remember, and finished it up with the fact that it lives in dark places.
"Wow." William said and whistled. Ricky noticed that his eyes were a bit red.
"We'd better get some sleep."

PT. 2

Smasher was sitting on the ground with his helmet on his sword that was implanted on the ground like a memorial. he seemed to sense William approaching him.
"Hey." Smasher said, sounding strange without his helmet muffleing his voice.
"Hey." Said William in response. "What're you doing out here? we're talking about the Logolo inside."
"I'm aware. no offense, but you were being pretty loud." Smasher replied dryly.
"Well, come on! we're waiting for you inside, and the discussion would be better if you were inclu-"
"How long has it been?" Smasher interrupted
"What do you mean?" puzzled William.
"How long has it been, since, you know. I was imprisoned? My mind is still fuzzy, but I can vaguely remember. My family. My village. My journey. Then a goblin took me, poked me in the face, and there I am. Lying on my back in an ugly little house, hearing a riddle that I could have sworn I've heard hundreds of times. You invited me on a quest, and, not remembering what I was supposed to be doing, had nothing else. I assumed I should join. fast forward, and here I am. My mind is clearer than ever, but there's still a big blank in time for me. What happened while I was gone? Is my family long gone? That goblin may have helped, you, but it is far from being good. too much goblin in his veins."
"I wish I could help you with you. But I have problems of my own. My son, Henry, recently was murdered by what I would have to assume is an old, cranky hobo wizard. I havent' had time to mourn, and have never been helpful. I've slowed down this quest. When it started I wanted to slay the beast of legend, but now, I just want my kid back." His voice wavered as he said these words. There was silence for a little while, broken only by the crickets and sounds of the night. an adult dog came panting over. it rested his head on Williams' lap as he stroked the dog's back. a comfortable silence ensued.
"We need you, Sam. We need your sword, shield, and heart on our journey. It's been a little while, maybe we should go back inside now."
They stood up, and Smasher took his helmet and put it back on, picked up his sword, and suddenly, an energetic faun came bounding out the door.
"Guys, we know where to look for the Logolo!"
