@gthreepwood1001 Thanks so much! I was really hyped about this project, this is the reason why I decided to spent a lot of time in building this. I'm really glad to see that you like my work
Hello @bricksandpieces ! I just uploaded the picture on flickr to host the images and then I simply copy and paste the images in the description field. There is certainly an easier way to do that, but it seems to work
I love Ratatouille and this model definitely makes it justice. It's funny that in your booklet you say you spent a lot of time in this model (4 full days, right?) when I've spent almost a full year in my upcoming modular design (admitedly having full weeks of not touching the project, though).
Just a thing of location request. Could you somehow add the super tall red door seperating dining room and kitchen (the one Skinner climbs a little ladder to see through the window of when Solene LeClaire tastes Linguini's soup).
This is awesome, I love the MOC and renderings, this definitely deserves to become a set, congratulations on 2000 supporters, good luck on reaching 10k!
We finally made it!! Thank you guys for supporting the project! It's a dream come true to get access to the review phase but it was only possible thanks to you. Finger crossed
I know that you will probably get an interview on lego ideas since you got to 10k, but I was just wondering now, what would you recommend someone do if they wanted to reach 10k for any of their products. Are there any strategies that you used to get more people to support this?
What I have seen others do is tell people about their project, post it on social media, share the link, build it in real life, make posters, and the list goes on.
I have tried some of these, but it seems that you have to create something that you really like and then try to spread the word as many ways a possible.
I have yet to achieve the goal of 10k, but I think I have learned some of the key ways to gain supporters, (even though not that many of my ideas have gotten that far). Hopefully one day I will get to the 1k, 5k, and 10k, but for now I have to perfect my building skills and try to build better.
I can't believe this didn't get approved. So sorry, Brick Project. You were sooo close. Keep them coming, and I'm sure you'll get a set in store sometime!
This is amazing and it's absolutely shameful that LEGO didn't pick this up to develop. It's truly beautiful and your work and passion really shows through.
Anybody can cook, but I can't think of anyone with the skill to create something as beautiful as this! A stunning work of art, and I speak for the entire Lego community when I say I want to pick this up from my local toy store.
Please make another Rataouille set and post it onto lego ideas. Many people love this set and want to have so badly. If you try again and you get 3 the set hits 10,000 supporters lego will see about 30,000 people want the kind of set and there would be a good chance of them making it.
