TO EVERYBODY WONDERING: YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO USE THESE, UNLESS I DIRECTED IT TO YOU. IF YOU ALLREADY HAVE THE MODEL, DELETE IT. THESE ARE NOT SELLABLE PRODEUCTS DUE TO MECABRICKS TERMS.

LCB here.

TO EVERYBODY WORRIED ABOUT THE LEGAL RAMAFACATIONS:
This is Legal, and seeing as I'm not selling these parts, I am not making profit, and thus, I am breaking no laws.

I recently gained access to a 3D printer thanks to my local library, and I had the idea to make a few things for my (presumable) Christmas present, of the 501st battle pack. These helmets are simple designs. And even though they have clipping, the insides are still usable.

These SHOULD be minifigure scale, but I plan on testing a few versions before I put these on something like thingverse.

If you have ideas, I would love them. And I'm not stuck with helmets only! I can make guns, books, ect, and the hardest part about all of this is going to be putting decals/stickers on all of them

Have a good day, and merry Christmas!

You should print rare pieces in new colors!

Well, I'm not doing it to start looking cool, or to make my own off brand LEGO (Which is also illegal).
The most I will do might be merging hair pieces for minifigure customs, custom helmets for storm troopers and clones, and creating bent bricks for MOC's, or LEGO Ideas projects. I'm trying to keep things Legal, while also having fun at the same time. That is why if you look at the Phase 2 clone helmets that I already have up there, you'll see that I added a couple tubes to make it more detailed, which makes it original, in all technicalities. So, I'm trying to be safe, I guess is the right word?

I’ll have to try it out on mine. The whole reason I joined MB was to print LEGO for MOCs and stuff. Then I figured out that MB was SOOO much more then just printing things.

Thanks! I'm going to swipe the whole thing as soon as I have them sent off for printing.

Well first off you don't have permission to use them. That would be a whole lot nicer then simply taking them.

So, I got them printed, and it failed. I hope to sand them with my dremel as soon as I get it

Yeah, you'd just need to sand the inside.

So do they not fit? I wanna see some pictures as well if it works, I want to figure out which is coolest IRL.

You could also put lego heads inside when you 3D print it, that way you can just stick it on the body, I’ve done it before like that.

Okay, sorry, I won’t 3d print these without permission, I didn’t see that comment, they are really cool though.

So, a couple broke. My Sigfig helmet was just... disgusting. The ARC trooper turned out well. But a whole TON of sanding with a Dremel will make it look good.

I once 3D printed the Millenium Falcon one time! I used my arts rooms (Schools) 3D-Printer!
