I see, so I'll do the preliminary leg work and you'll finish the model up and take the credit, put it on the front page, and post it to Facebook. That's just not cool...

Awesome work, both of you!

This and the Exo-suit are next on my list of sets to get.

Hi guys,

@d.schultz It wasn't my goal to upset you. it's a set that I own and thought it would be a great addition to mecabricks. So I spent pretty much all my evenings this week modeling and drawing missing parts.

If it can make you feel better, I didn't re-use the start that you made a couple of months ago and if you complete the model and that it is up to a certain standard (as it will be displayed on other sites like brickset.com), I have no problem to make it the official set and put it in the front page instead of this one

When I add sets myself on mecabricks it is just to make more content to attract more people on the website and keep the ball rolling. I prefer 10x more when I see sets published by other users!

It's always hard to know if a user will come back one day here to complete a model. so let's that not re-happen, and if there is a set you really want to complete in the future, let me know (forum/twitter/facebook/etc.) and I can tell you when parts are ready to finish and publish it.

@Intragroove I've seen that you started to model of the exo-suit here
I ordered the real set a couple of weeks ago on the official store before it was unavailable and it is supposed to come by the end of this month. So unless I find another way to get access to good pictures of decorated parts, I'll do the missing parts/minifigs at that time and let you know so that you can complete your model.

There's a reason why I painstakingly listed all of the missing parts out, I wanted to finish the model. If you didn't notice, I posted in the forum that I would even like to be a greater part of your project than just building models.

I was upset for a few reasons. If someone takes the time to post the parts that are missing. 1) they care about building your parts library and 2) they care about finishing the model.

Those two things help your project grow. If you just go behind and wrap each project up without giving someone a chance to finish what they've started, it's a lose lose situation. Should I care, no, the model is built and it's hopefully brought more people to your site, and hopefully that exponentially expands your parts library and ultimately makes your project better. Do I care, yes, because I put a lot of time into the project for nothing, and I can't really get that time back.

I think I've done my part in bringing people to your site. Two of my models have almost 2,000 views alone, and that's just from one reddit link. I'm here to stay. I want to model parts and create finished models. I have a lot of faith in what you've started and want to see it grow.

Letting someone know parts are finished is one reason I think we need PM capability. I'll also be posting up the page of notes on features that I think would be useful, since you're back from vacation now.

Thanks for replying, sorry there was so much emotion in my initial post.

I wanted to mention that the two roof tiles on the very front are too high, they're supposed to be even with the other sloped tiles. The part number is 3299, it's 25 degrees instead of 45.

We have to keep in mind that 99% of the hard work was done by Scrubs. Without MECABRICKS no models like that. Simple.

I spotted the yellow car plate Zanna
Pretty cool.

But... have you found... the ghost!? ^^

Just found it! I had to look closely

Ghosts are shy: it is not easy to see them

Hey Scrubs, just so you know, the 2x3 wing plate is the wrong way around on the back left fin. (You used a right-side wing plate instead of a left-side)

Wow Antony!
Congrats for the render!

Have you used the last Blender template?
No, I import directly into 3Dsmax, as rendering using Corona Render.

I shall really update the minifigs from this set with the last version of the geometry.
