the carno is my favorite dinosaur of all time. and while there is an official lego version, i wanted to do something that was more representative of the real animal, both in size and build. threw in a few dimorphodons as well; the devil tail works extremely well for long tailed pterosaurs!

You're totally right, using the minifigure accessories to detail brick-built animals like the dimorphodons here is amazing!

@Clif thanks! It does pose some slight issues irl if one were to build it, since that piece doesnt have the same thickness as a true plate piece, but it should be fine enough to be structually possible. I just wish getting custom prints was a bit easier on here. Those dimorphodons would be perfect imo with a face print on the sloped tiles that make up their head

@supercanada when I'm looking to add detail via prints (and since I'm far too dumb to make my own prints lol) I take a look at the existing prints and try to recolor the parts if they fit my goal.

@Clif true! Sadly there arent quite any prints for those tiles that worked to my liking. I guess ill just have to learn how to make my own lol
