This set no. 70167 'Invizable Gold Getaway' came out in March 2015 as part of the "Ultra Agents" theme.

The "Ultra Agents" series, which lasted from 2014 till 2016, marked one of LEGO's pioneering attempts in developing mobile apps in conjunction with physical sets, adding "cross-dimensional" interactivity and directly linking bonus digital content with specific models and minifigures.

For "Ultra Agents," LEGO designers developed and manufactured a custom 1x1 brick (Part #15411) called an AppBrick. If I understand correctly, the AppBrick had a conductive element inside; touched simultaneously with the tablet's screen running the LEGO app, it would trigger specific actions, unlock some content, etc.

LEGO still occasionally implements similar interactive mobile apps (see "Hidden Side" theme in 2019-'20 for recent examples). These days, however, it all relies on Augmented Reality (AR) technology, which renders the "Ultra Agents" theme's approach, with custom physical bricks, utterly obsolete.

In a fine LEGO tradition, "Ultra Agents" pay appropriate respects to their predecessors, the "Agents" (2008) and "Agents 2.0" themes. Albeit, with brand-new characters and backstories, the general premises are strikingly similar, staged on Earth (in the vaguely distant future, perhaps, or even "present-day") with a team of super-agents fighting off multifaceted, quirky, inventive villains. Curiously, "Ultra Agents" also ties and cross-references a few other Action/Adventure LEGO themes, such as "Galaxy Squad or "Monster Fighters."

The 'Invizable Gold Getaway' set directly pays homage to a couple of earlier "Agents" models. The scene itself repeats set no. 8968 'River Heist,' with an agent chasing the bank robber. (Except this time around, the "heroes" are in the spotlight, not villains, plus the chase mainly takes place on the streets). The primary vehicle, Stealth Bike, nods to set. no 8632 'Swamp Raid,' which also featured a sci-fi motorcycle.

Stylistically, the Stealth Bike fits perfectly in the "Ultra Agents" color scheme: black with neon blue accents and a slightly chaotic, mish-n-mashy blend of square blocks and "organic" rounder shapes. However, in a "two-wheel motorcycle" configuration—is it just me?—it strikingly resembles sci-fi motorcycles from the epic Hollywood classic "TRON," especially the 2010 remake "TRON: Legacy." The fact that Stealth Bike converts into a hovercraft only further strengthens this connection!

(A few years later, in 2018, LEGO released an official "TRON: Legacy" build, a fan-submitted LEGO Ideas design).

The set's name refers to the villain, Invizable, an iconic character straight out of H. G. Wells's "The Invisible Man." Apparently, he first appeared as Mr. Pale, or Paleman, in the 2011 "Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu" TV series. In the context of "Ultra Agents," Invizable is a bank robber. He wears a dark red suit, generally digging the same flashy, "$$$" signs-heavy fashion as Dollar Bill from the aforementioned 'River Heist.' Invizable's "bling-bling" of choice is a heavy golden medallion, plus note a hilarious $100 pattern on his shirt! His epic look is complete with a fedora hat and a clear transparent headpiece, only sunglasses visible.

Invizable pilots an elegant Airspeeder, towing a stolen safe with golden bricks on a chain. This tiny aircraft also converts into a waterjet by folding the wings, nice little touch to match the Stealth Bike's transformer capability. Invizable comes armed with a double-barrel blaster (Part #95199, debuted in 2011 in the Space sub-theme "Alien Conquest").
