This mini-set no. 6704 'Space Mini Figures,' also known as 'The United Galaxies' in the UK, came out in 1991, and it was the fourth Minifig Pack in the "Space" theme.

These sets all had sequential "670x" numbers and typically featured five-six minifigs with accessories. The '91 version also included five characters from ongoing "Space" factions: one Space Police Officer, two M:Tron Astronauts, and two minifigs from the newly-rebooted "Blacktron" subtheme. (Unofficially referred to as "Blacktron II," this collection reused the initial name and only changed the logo; in North America, though, it was marketed as "Blacktron: Future Generation").

The sixth minifig was an odd exception—a first-generation '87 Blacktron Astronaut featured despite his subtheme already being retired. If I'm not mistaken, it might be the only regular retail Lego set to have both "Blacktron I" and "Blacktron II" minifigs!

The accessories were all typical "Space" tools from the early nineties, such as a metal detector, a walkie-talkie, a megaphone, a curious wrench/jackhammer hybrid, plus two jetpacks: an old-fashioned version (in three pieces) on one of "M:Tron" troopers, and the new "Blacktron II" mold (absent on Mecabricks).
