Stas corrected the cockpit! I think it is accurate to the real part now
We are getting there. I am still impress that pretty much all pieces were available in Mecabricks. Thanks everybody for all your hours spent on Mecabricks.
Good catch VirusE, I've added them. BTW, thanks to Scrubs (I guess) for adding the cockpit parts to the model. Even if it's still not 100% complete, it looks a lot better now.
Still found that one of the four wheel disks on the rear top surface is different from the others. Not the detail is set.
Just noticed that my model when translating from LDD hoses disappeared behind:
If someone here could provide a good sticker scan of the sign, I'd be willing to do the missing decal of it. I'm already familiar with the necessary steps from doing the sign for the set 75144-1: Snowspeeder, see https://www.mecabricks.com/en/models/xGejerZMvKX
A usable photo of the legs of Chewbacca (sw532) would help, too. I'm not able to model the head piece, though (but do the decals for it)...
OMG, this thing is really huge (7424 parts - the biggest LEGO set ever, I believe)! And it shows, how incredibly well MB is dealing with sets of such enourmous size.
Not sure if the OP is still monitoring this but I'd love to know how you managed to get the engine lattices to curve in this fashion. I've wanted to do this for my rendition of 10179 for almost three years.
