This Particle generator (kinda complicated) can be used in Animations.
It has been "coded" with nodes by instancing a tile and randomly placing it... more or less

This can be used to make awesome things like explosions & stuff! I totally know what I'm talking about...

(Click the l< button twice to reset
)

Instructions

basically, the cube controls how big the area is where in the particles can be. Animate the cube and you animate the particles.

(Node tree: Particles)

- Change Object that is being Instanced:
1. Locate the "INSTANCED OBJECT" block
2. Remove current object
3. Insert new object

- Change Material
1. Locate the "MATERIAL" block
2. Change material

- Change amount of particles
1. Locate the "AMOUNT OF PARTICLES" block
2. Change value

- Change Affected field to constant
1. Locate the "RANDOM SEED" blocks
2. Select the one you want to change
3. Unplug min (-) or max (+) or even both
4. Insert value

(Useful for: making limits)

- Change random seed
1. Locate the "RANDOM SEED" blocks
2. Change seed of wished axis.

(Node Tree: Cube)

- Make particles invisible
1. Make cube invisible

- Make particles visible
1. Make cube visible

(Workshop)

- Duplicate Particles
1. Import particles again

(If you just duplicate the tiles, the node tree won't be duplicated with it!!)

Wiz - No... This comment is more random, because I don't give a proper reason why.

My goodness, that is amazing!!
Your animations are just fantastic, how ever do you do what you do!! (That's a lot of "do's"
)

Mr. Worriz - Thanks!!
(even though it's more of an Animation tool than an animation) & Indeed a lot of "do"s
Maybe I'm so good at what I do because I have been doing it for around 1 and a half years!!

This is fab. I can't work out how it works but the result is great. I wanted to extend the explosion over 200 frames but couldn't work out how to do that. Do you know how to do that?

turnip26 - Basically, the size and path of the particles is decided on the location of the (orange) cube (an empty)
E.g. if you pause at frame 5 and move the cube around, the particles will increase or decrease in size!
On the second node tree, "Example Path [Cube]" you can find the nodes that move the cube. Just increase any of the durations, add an delay or add more Animate Vectors and Vector Maths or anything to increase the time the cube moves. To make them hide later, increase the number in the "compare" block!!
& Thank you!!!
