Some of the major modifications are the taller chimney, rear-extended roof, and color scheme, as well as the addition of connectable-bumpers, a fire box(with light-brick), and, of coarse, the train tracks.

Well there is this little Welsh train from my childhood called Ivor the engine, I think I will use him as my inspiration.

wonderful! I'm doing a series of locomotives, so far I've only done Diesels, because most steam locomotives have outside pistons, and thus can't have their drive rods attached until someone adds the steam locomotive wheels
So far I've made both a standard gauge and a narrow gauge switching locomotive, and the narrow gauge locomotive has been designed to have swiveling trucks!
