This Alternative Build is based on a 487-1 Space Cruiser.

I'm impressed by the number of parts hiding in that mid sized space ship. This is my first own creation made directly in Mecabricks. The ideas just showed up in my mind as the build went forward.

The first alternative I wanted to try out was a base. I tried to keep the feeling of an original LEGO set from that time. The Forklift truck was extended so it also got controllable arms with scanners. Now the classic space minifigs can scan the area first to analyze if it's worth setting up a base. In this case it was! The original white cargo box is kept untouched.

I also have another alternative that I might try later smiling face with open mouth

Thanks for looking!
