This is a basic logic gate (AND). If an axle is pushed in one stud, that represents a 1. Otherwise, it's a zero. The 'output' axle will only be pushed one stud out if both 'input' axles are pushed in one stud. If only one input axle is pushed, nothing happens. The best part is that using this gate won't put noise into the system it's used in.
@Cakery, actually, that's a feature. I built this IRL first, and the reason it can pivot outwards is to stop the output from moving at all if only one axle is pushed in. Basically, it's so that the output is always 0 (neutral) unless both inputs are 1 (pushed in). Thanks for commenting, though. I like your render, too!
