Hi,
I’m trying to put a lt steering gear in place, but the rotation/transform tool is doing weird things. For example: 2 of the axes are on 0, 90, or 180 degrees, and when rotate the third axe, you see the numbers of all 3 axes changing. While the 2 other axes aren’t rotated. So the degrees in the transform tool aren’t correct anymore. For instance, it says that a certain axe is rotated 75°, when it’s actually still at 0,90 or 180 degrees. And when I use the transform tool, it rotates other axes than the one where I put in the numbers.

That is not a bug. Mecabricks uses XYZ intrinsic Tait-Bryan angles in the transform panel.
I don’t know how much you know about rotation in 3D but it is a complicated topic. Also remember that you can change the scope of the transform gizmo (global or local). Please do post a picture or a short screen video if I didn’t answer your question or want to know the best solution to achieve your part positioning.

Not enough to know what XYZ intrinsic Tait-Bryan angles are lol smiling face with open mouth and smiling eyes but thats why i used the example with the 2 axes on 0,90 or 180° and rotating the third, because then its not really rotating in 3D anymore. That aside, the first time when I positioned them (had to change all my gear wheels, axes etc because of a fault in the instruction) I had no problems and everything worked perfectly. I don’t know if it’s bug or not, but something was definitely wrong smiling face with open mouth and smiling eyes
Yes i know, i switch regularly between local and global (depending on what kind of rotation is necessary) and I tried that 2, but that didn’t help. I eventually got everything in place with the move panel. There everything worked normal.

I’ll try it again later to see if it’s still like that and if so, take screenshots/videos.
