LEGO Star Wars Celebration 2015 in Anaheim offered an exclusive Tattooine Mini Build set. Sold for the 3 day event for $40, it consisted of 178 pieces.

The set comes with a mini Sandcrawler, Landspeeder, Lars Homestead, and micro versions of C-3P0, R2-D2, Owen Lars, two Jawas, and also a regular C-3P0 minifigure—which I didn’t include. Fans were able to have the set signed by designer Mark Roe.

I know it's a special set and of course it looks cool but 40$ for 178 pieces? What a rip-off. face with stuck-out tongue

LOL, agree. But demand always drive price, especially in small quantities. The packing is pretty complex for such a small run, expecting they passed that cost on.

My number one question with the set is why did they make the landspeeder yellow?

Look good, but I thing a microfigure would make a good Luke.

The star logos are supposed to be the Thermal Detonator Pattern, but hasn't been added yet. I'll see if I can find a good image and add it. Didn't seem to make much of a different though.

I thought the reason for the yellow speeder was the lack of colors on parts, but that doesn't seem to be the case as I can find them all in brick yellow/tan.
